What is an air source heat pump?

Even when it is cold outside, a heat pump uses heat energy extracted from the air to warm your house.

A properly constructed heat pump system delivers three to four times as much heat into a building as it does energy to run it. Heat pumps are extremely effective as a result.

  • Uses energy that is stored in the air to provide heating and hot water.

  • Produces more energy is produced than is consumed.

  • You can get a £5000 grant via the Boiler Upgrade Scheme
